Socio economic description

The locals from Nistoreşti commune, close to the natural protected areas, capitalize on the economic resources specific to the region through various types of activities: wood exploiting and rough processing, wood finite processing at local level, animal breeding (cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry) and animal product processing, cultivating the land, collecting and processing forest fruits and forest products, mountain agrotourism, forestry, carpentry, joinery.

Also, the advantages these communities can offer to investors include raw materials (wood), products (milk, meat, fruits, forest fruits) and labor.
