Increasing the level of information and awareness on the importance of preserving local biodiversity and the need for rational use of natural resources is essential to achieving change of behavior or attitude to the benefit of nature.
The importance of responsibility regarding the environment, in general, and biodiversity conservation, in particular, within the protected natural areas targeted by the project, will be presented and discussed during several school meetings in Nistoreşti commune (10 presentations for students and 2 seminars for teachers).
Students and teachers can also disseminate the acquired knowledge, thus actively transmitting the information to other members of the community.
